We invite you to play our "Coles Caption
Competition"[see below photo]
[and
"check-out" our sites] AustLawPublish HOME. HaigReport home.
The is a scene inside a Coles Store. This is Coles Customer Service and
clearly a product of Coles Staff Training [and
selection]. = "Thanks for shopping at Coles."
We, at Australian Law Publishers, cannot believe that this could have
happened. This is gross outrage on a national scale. We are sure
that Coles Group Ltd [Coles]and Wesfarmers Limited [Wesfarmers]
management realise this.
It is as though the $20 billion national Coles chain has given the
corporate finger to the collective Australian population.
This photo will epitomise the Wesfarmers takeover of Coles.
The FACE of Coles.
[We are prepared to negotiate for licence agreements for its
use.] We have been composing numerous possible captions for this
photo. We decided to share the joy with others. We are
offering no prizes, but if you wish to email us your
best choice of caption [to the email address: captions (at)
haigreport.com/ but please do not do so unless you pass full
Intellectual Property Rights to us for free, without charge or
fee, (your sending them to us will signify such agreement)] , we will
publish them [the more notable ones, subject to good taste of course],
and their author's (your) name, [provided we do not have too many] and
then see if we can devise a way for people to cast their votes on the
many captions. We have copyright on this photo, and if contacted
we can negotiate to see if we can arrange "licence fees" for the use of
this photo. We want this "Coles photo" well publicised.
Of course, we have a serious purpose in life and that is addressed in a
number of our published print
journals. We will be including this "money" shot in a host of our
publications this month. Hence, we will need to produce
"Captions" for the photo. The photo is so "busy" that the
possible captions have flooded us.
There have bean a number of serious issues, that people have had with
Coles over the past three years or so. Some are mentioned in our
journals. Coles Head Office knows about them, but has tried to
"actively ignore" them. Well, now that Wesfarmers is doing "due
diligence" on Coles, it may like to encourage Coles to deal with the
issues, now, before Wesfarmers "acquires" Coles et al, so Wesfarmers
will not have to "take heed" of them into the future. Succinctly,
Coles are vacariously liable for their staff, while they
were staff and engaging in criminal activity in the course of their
work for Coles. It is not satisfactory for Coles to merely terminate
[or permit the staff member to tender their own resignation], and cover
up their staff's criminal activity. [Ask Coles
about Linda Maree Wease, the circumstances of her termination in 2005
and the subsequent subpoenas they have received.] Coles is
mentioned in our Australian
Criminal Law Journal published 26 March, 2007 Issue #200703 page 5.
Much depends upon how the Coles-Wesfarmers merger progresses, and what
happens to the corporate structure. Since the shares of the
present Coles shareholders will be purchased, Wesfarmers is unlikely to
then shed the corporate structure. That structure retains the
liability of the present Coles corporation.
What do you think of these Captions? [Layla may be able to
construct an excuse from one of them.] It is a very "busy" photo;
there is so much content in it. Layla was not even the purpose of
the photo, although a few minutes prior, she had screamed an
expletive. Observing the colour phase change in the photo, one
can see that the fastest moving thing in the photo is Layla's
hand.
"Thanks for shopping at Coles",

[If you want to buy in, HREOC, (we
used big capitals so Google will more readily index it), go ahead
as we like to combine our targets: synergistic publicity it
is called. We
will be happy to publicize HREOC's
(big capitals again) incompetence and
cover-up corruption". See our journal titled Quentin
Bryce Amrita ISSN 1834-6723 Issue #200701.
You will know Quentin Bryce was a HREOC commissioner, now the Beattie
labor appointed governor of Queenland.]
"Where do you think this has been",
"What does this mean?"
"Can you see this?"
"Where has this been?"
"What's this on the end of my hand/arm?"
